In short
- Automatic time blocking: every task gets a real slot in your calendar.
- ASAP, high, medium and low priorities; soft or hard deadlines.
- Big tasks are split into work sessions.
- Projects in list, Kanban and Gantt views, for teams too.
How BrainCal decides where a task goes
- It works out your free time: your working hours minus your busy events.
- It sorts tasks: urgent first, then hard deadlines, then the nearest deadlines, then priority.
- It places each task as early as possible, respecting its start date and the tasks blocking it.
- It splits work when needed, with a minimum session length you choose.
- It flags tasks that will finish after their deadline or that don’t fit.
You stay in control
Drag a task with your mouse or finger: it gets locked in place and the rest of the plan adapts. A “Reschedule all” button reruns the plan whenever you want, and a banner helps you fix late tasks (push the deadline, shorten the task, make it urgent).
Team projects too
Describe a project and the AI suggests stages and tasks. Every assigned task is scheduled in the right person’s calendar, with dependencies respected. List, Kanban, Gantt and workload views.

Frequently asked questions
What is automatic time blocking?
It means reserving a slot for every task in your calendar, done by software instead of by you. BrainCal picks the slots from each task’s duration, priority and deadline.
What if I don’t have time for everything?
BrainCal warns you as soon as a task is at risk of missing its deadline and suggests fixes: push it back, shorten it, or move other tasks later.
Can I plan tasks for my team?
Yes. In a team workspace, every assigned task is scheduled in that person’s calendar.
Are recurring tasks supported?
Yes: a task can repeat (daily, weekly…) and every occurrence is scheduled.
