1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of BrainCal, an online organization service: calendar, automatic task scheduling, projects, booking links, documents, meeting notes and AI assistant. Creating an account means accepting these terms.
2. Account
Your account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity carried out with your account. The service is for people aged 15 and over; below that age, the consent of a parent or guardian is required.
3. Your content
You remain the owner of the tasks, events, documents and recordings you create or import, and you guarantee you have the necessary rights. Private content is only visible to you and to members of the workspaces you share. By publishing a document or a booking page, you allow BrainCal to show it to anyone with the link, as long as it stays published.
4. Connected calendars
By adding an .ics link or connecting a calendar (iCloud, Google, Outlook), you allow BrainCal to read it regularly to display it and plan around it, and to write the changes you make when the calendar allows it. You can remove this access at any time from the settings.
5. Artificial intelligence and scheduling
The proposed schedule, the assistant’s answers, project plans, transcripts and meeting summaries are produced automatically and may contain errors: check them before relying on them. The assistant changes nothing without your approval.
6. Trial, subscriptions and payment
BrainCal Pro can be tried free for 14 days, once per person. A card is required to start the trial, but nothing is charged during it. We email you 3 days before the trial ends; if you don’t cancel, the chosen subscription starts automatically when the trial ends and the first payment is charged. Plans: Pro (€10 a month or €96 a year), Student (€19 per semester, for students on their word of honor) or Team (€15 per person per month, or €144 per person per year). Prices include VAT. Payment is processed by Stripe. The subscription renews automatically each period until cancelled, which you can do at any time from Settings → Subscription, effective at the end of the current period; cancelled during the trial, nothing is charged. You have 14 days after the first payment to withdraw and get a refund: by asking for immediate access to the service, you agree that the refund is calculated pro rata for the unused period. Without a subscription, your account and data are kept, and you keep your calendar, connected calendars, one booking link and reminders.
7. Prohibited uses
Prohibited: unlawful, hateful or violent content or content infringing others’ rights; sharing third parties’ personal data; using booking links for abusive solicitation; bypassing limits, automated or abusive use of the service; any attempt to compromise its security. Such uses may lead to content removal and account suspension.
8. Availability
The service is provided as is, with reasonable efforts to keep it available and daily backups. Interruptions for maintenance or updates may occur. The publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damage or loss of opportunity, within the limits permitted by law.
9. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → My account: your data is then erased and any subscription is cancelled (see the privacy policy).
10. Changes and governing law
These terms may change; the version in force is the one published on this page. They are governed by French law.
